Aluminum Smelter Refining Flux generally passes through the melt of aluminum and aluminum alloy with inert gas as the carrier for the removal of gas and impurity.

When Aluminum Smelter Refining Flux is used incorrectly, the following undesirable things happen:

If the raw material is poor, the H content even exceeds 0.40mL /100gAl. The H content of aluminum melt in furnace can be reduced to 0.18mL /100gAl level by high quality refining agent.

When the flux is added to the aluminum alloy melt, it melts into flux drops. Because the proportion of flux is smaller than that of melt, flux drops float in the melt.

It encounters non-metallic inclusion particles in the melt as it floats up.

Because of the low surface tension of the flux at the interface of the non-metallic inclusion, the flux can wet the non-metallic inclusion and make it adsorbed on the flux droplet.

The aluminum casting flux has a large surface tension on the interface of liquid aluminum and does not infiltrate, so the flux can float out of the liquid surface with the non-metallic inclusion adsorbed together under the action of specific gravity difference, and then be removed by slag picking. This kind of slagging is generally called flotation slagging.

Aluminum Smelter Refining Flux has the following characteristics
